Departure to Sabah
With excitement and joy in our hearts, the Shendun team set off on the journey to Sabah, officially kicking off a heartfelt team - building activity.
Exploring Sabah and Discovering Natural Wonders
- D1: Snake Island - Paradise Island
This island has been under protection and off - limits for 40 years. Free from over - developed commercialism, it boasts crystal - clear blue waters and pristine white sands. Everything on the island exudes an aura of primitive charm and natural beauty. - D2: Exploring Kota Kinabalu and Discovering the City's Charm
- Cabana Beach Camp & Firefly Tour
We experienced the unique beach culture at Cabana Beach Camp. In the evening, we embarked on a firefly tour. The sight of thousands of fireflies gathering together was truly magical. They adorned the mangroves with their twinkling lights, creating a scene as if the stars had come down to earth. It was like stepping into a fairy - tale world. - Water Mosque, Pu - Tuo Temple, Kinabalu Fund Building, and Universiti Malaysia Sabah
These iconic sites allowed us to immerse in the local urban culture and appreciate the architectural beauty of Malaysia.
On DAY 3, we embarked on a journey to Mari Mari Cultural Village. It is a place steeped in cultural heritage where we got to experience traditional handicrafts firsthand, savor authentic local wines and delicacies, and immerse ourselves in the unique cultural atmosphere of Malaysia. Visiting the five indigenous tribes gave us a profound understanding of Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage. Traditional dances, handicraft making, tattooing, and interactive situational performances all allowed us to feel the unique charm of this land.
A Culinary Journey, Savoring Exotic Flavors
The culinary culture of the Sabah Islands is rich and diverse. We tasted local seafood and specialty snacks, experiencing the unique charm of exotic flavors. It was not only a feast for the taste buds but also a collision and exchange of cultures, allowing us to better integrate into this beautiful land. We truly experienced durian freedom.
Reflections and Outlook
This team - building trip not only allowed us to relax but also inspired our vision for the future. Returning to work, we bring a stronger team spirit and a more positive attitude to face new work and challenges together.
